Shad Thames Felicity J Lord (Lettings)

If you are a landlord looking to let your property, or you’re looking to rent a property in the historic, riverside setting of London’s Shad Thames, Felicity J Lord Letting Agents are here to help.

Felicity J Lord Lettings Shad Thames is part of the UK’s largest independent estate and lettings agents. Every year we help thousands of people to achieve their aims, whether they’re letting out a property, or keen to rent one.

In Victorian times Shad Thames was a huge complex of warehouses and wharves, where tea, coffee and spices were unloaded from ships and stored. Today the warehouses have been transformed into luxury flats, and there are impressive new apartment blocks and fantastic restaurants, bars and shops.

Many residents tend to walk to work in the City of London, just across Tower Bridge. However there are also good transport links via London Bridge and Bermondsey underground stations (Jubilee line) and Tower Hill (Circle and District line).

It’s also only a short walk to the Tate Modern art gallery, as well as Borough Market and the Globe Theatre – all iconic London attractions, and all on your doorstep. Bermondsey Street, to the south of Shad Thames, is full of bars and restaurants.

So whether you’re looking to let or rent in Shad Thames, the Felicity J Lord Lettings team is here to help.

Government announces five-week cap on rental deposits- but Felicity J Lord goes one better. The government has recently confirmed that it will cut the maximum deposit for rentals of less than £50,000 to five weeks, down from six weeks. According to the National Landlords Association and the Residential Landlords Association, the reduction could force landlords out of the market. However, Felicity J Lord partnered with flatfair earlier this year to launch a solution which protects both tenants and landlords in equal measure.
