What is Shared Ownership?

Shared Ownership is designed to help first-time buyers and those who do not currently own a home purchase a share of a new-build or resale leasehold property. You buy a share using a mortgage and pay rent on the remaining share to a housing association.

At Chalkstone Lane, shares start from 25% (up to a maximum of 75% initially). Over time, you can purchase additional shares — known as staircasing — until you own 100% of your home.

Eligibility Criteria:

To qualify for Shared Ownership, you must:

Have a household income of £90,000 or less per year

Have at least a 10% deposit of the share value

Not own another property (in the UK or abroad)

Use the property as your only residence

Be a permanent UK resident or have indefinite leave to remain

Please note: The minimum share you can purchase may vary depending on your financial circumstances, and you may be required to buy a larger share if affordable.

*Service charges are estimated and subject to change. Rent and service charges are reviewed annually by the housing provider.

Crafted with refined brickwork and graceful arches, the architecture pairs natural materials with abundant greenery to create a sense of grounded character. At the rooftop, a garden sanctuary opens up to panoramic views of London, offering a place to unwind, play, or simply take in the skyline. Beyond the building, the rhythm of the city continues — alive, dynamic, and always close.

WELL-CONNECTED, CLOSE TO NATURE
Getting around is easy at 3 Chalkstone Lane.
Greenwich and Deptford Bridge DLR stations are both just a 10-minute walk away, with direct trains from Greenwich taking you straight into Central London. Handy local bus routes make travelling across South London simple, while one of the Capital’s most beautiful Royal Parks is right on your doorstep — perfect for weekend walks, bike rides, or picnics in the sun.

VILLAGE CHARM. URBAN BUZZ
Imagine living just a short walk from the sweeping greenery of Blackheath and the historic beauty of Greenwich Park. Picture being surrounded by elegant Georgian squares, the kind that look straight out of a film set.

You’re also right next to Deptford, where buzzing bars and inventive restaurants have brought new energy to the old railway arches. This is urban living with a village feel — the best of all worlds.

This unique area blends history with creativity, diversity, and modern flair. It’s a place to pause, breathe in the big skies, and dive into rich cultural experiences. And when the sun goes down, there’s no shortage of places to enjoy a memorable night out.

GREENWICH PARK
A Royal Park with some of the most spectacular views in London. From its hilltop, you can take in a panorama stretching from Canary Wharf to the City, with landmarks like Inigo Jones’s Queen’s House in the foreground.

Covering 180 acres, the park includes a boating lake, ancient Roman ruins, the Royal Observatory, and even deer descended from Henry VIII’s herd. It’s a timeless gem in the heart of Greenwich.

15GRAMS COFFEE HOUSE
Though coffee shops are everywhere in Greenwich and Blackheath, locals have a soft spot for 15grams — a small-batch roastery with branches in both areas.
