Inside Islington N1

Islington has something for everyone – two bustling markets, restaurants and cafés to rival any in London, a charming art-house cinema and really proper pubs. Property varies from grand Georgian to sharp contemporary, via cosy Victorian. Locals love it, outsiders envy it. Of course there’s much more to Islington than Upper Street and it’s immediate surroundings - Barnsbury, Highbury Fields, Canonbury, De Beauvoir, the up-and-coming Caledonian Road – an embarrassment of riches, in other words.

The locals view

Islington is within easy reach of everywhere I want to be. Ten minutes to my work, fifteen to Soho, and five minutes to a park.
